Yes, when it is done by a trained professional with quality wax and proper technique. Some temporary redness is normal. Please tell us if you use Retin-A or Tretinoin — they make the skin fragile, so waxing is not recommended. For the first 24 hours avoid hot showers, saunas, workouts, tanning and tight clothing on the treated area. Gentle exfoliation between appointments helps prevent ingrown hairs.
